The 4.8 Naiad is one of our most popular models. Several are in use as ship’s auxilaries and many others are used by Government department round the world. This model can be built to survey if required and there are different options of layout depending on work to be undertaken.
Coastguard units also use this RHIB as a Fast Rescue boat. It has a two man centre console with ample room in front and around the console to either work from or lay a patient on the deck. The console allows space for required instruments, compass and VHF radio.
The inflatable pontoon with two or four inner tubes is made of extra heavy duty PU/PVC fabric and is protected by a 100mm rubbing strip, extra of which can be added if required.
The excellent sea keeping of this model installs great confidence even in arduous conditions developing a reputation amongst seafarers as a safe sea-kindly craft capable of going almost anywhere.
For recreational use the 4.8 Scout is also a very versatile boat for diving, water skiing or adventuring. It is easy to land on a beach and effortless to load on to the trailer.
