Naiad 5.3 Scout

An exceptionally safe and stable boat, the Naiad 5.3XL Scout delivers the advantages of the soft-riding deep vee hull to get you out there, and the stability and unsurpassed safety of the inflatable fenders to ensure that you get back. The Naiad 5.3XL Sportline, as used by the New Zealand Coastguard, is based on our successful rescue boat design being operational even when swamped.

The painted two-man centre console gives excellent control and all round visibility. Options of windscreen and handrails on the console are available, as well as moderate vee hull. Storage for two fuel tanks is under the console. Powered by a 85 h.p. outboard, the deep vee model gives an approximate top speed of 65 kph.
