This Naiad is 7.8 metres of impressive tender. The hull is the same as used on the Naiad 7.3m Rescue Craft that are in use by the New Zealand and Australian coastguard. By utilising a diesel inboard and sterndrive instead of an outboard arrangement allows clean lines and easy access to the large half metre landing platform. This is also useful for storage of the boat as the leg is covered by the platform when raised.
The wrap around seating at the front and back gives shelter to the guests and provides a pleasant social layout. Storage space is neatly hidden at the stern and bow, with a seperate anchor locker. A ski pole is central located at the rear and access to the water is assisted by a handrail and fold-out ladder.
