DOC Picton Launching

DoC Picton launched their new Naiad 5.8m Work Boat on Monday 7th November 2011.

It is a customised sportline model powered by a Honda 135Hp 4-stroke outboard. The canopy is high enough to stand under and the side clears zip off to provide airflow if required allowing the canopy to remain for sun protection.

At the bow a boarding ladder has been added to make bow landings easy and also acts as a lawnmower storage space, complete with tiedowns. 

This 5.8 replaces their previous 5.3 which has served them well since 1991.
