Noosa and Whakatane

This week we have launched two Coastguard Naiads.

Noosa Coastguard in N.S.W. have taken delivery of their 9m Rescue Vessel while Whakatane Coastguard’s new 10m Rescue RIB is on sea trials.

The Whakatane crews are very pleased with the Naiad’s performance and handling capability. Powered by twin 300hp four-stroke Yamaha’s the cruising speed is in excess of 30 knots.
