The two boats arriving at Geraldton WARob Pennicott's "Follow the Yellow Boat Road" circumnavigation of Australia is now over half way there!  The boats are due in Perth this weekend for a well-earned two day rest.

The trip started on 31st May from Sydney.  Two 5.4m Naiads are making the circumnavigation in support of eradication of the crippling disease polio.  Driving force behind the campaign is Rob Pennicott, a well-known adventure tourism operator from Tasmania.  He is skippering one of the boats, and the second is skippered by Mick Sorter.

The boats are 5.4m Naiads with twin 60hp Mercury outboards, underfloor fuel tanks, extra on-deck fuel tanks, gps and radar, satellite tracking and Ullman seating.

Rob's company Bruny Island Cruises is a multi award-winning eco-tourism operator, running a total of six 12.6m Naiad boats.  His trips are recognised as amongst the best eco tours in the world.  See brunycruises.com.au/
