Port Kembla pilot boat recently launched

A new Naiad pilot boat for Port Kembla (south of Sydney, NSW, Australia) has recently been launched and delivered.  Built by our Queensland builder Woody Marine, this boat is virtually identical to the very successful Naiad pilot boat operated by Ports of Auckland.

Dave Green, managing director of Woody Marine, reports the boat is performing extremely well, hitting all performance and handling targets with ease. Woody's have done a great job with the engineering on this vessel.
