Yamba Welding and Engineering Sign three Police BoatsJune 2012 Naiad's east coast licensee, Yamba Welding and Engineering, has signed a three boat contract with the NSW Police Marine Area Command. The boats are 9.5m stepped hull, with a hardtop cabin, forward racking windows and foam fenders. The NSW Police Marine Area Command is responsible for all coastal area's of NSW to 200 Nautical Miles out to sea. The services provided by MAC are similar to those carried out by land-based police, including crime prevention and detection, search and rescue.
