West Bay's 9 metre Water Taxi has been so successful that they needed another one. In 3 years the 9 metre "West Bay" had covered 130,000 nautical miles and carried 45,000 passengers and the pair of Johnson outboards have given profitable service.
This 11.3 metre, aptly named "Simply The Best", continues the style of the 9 metre with extreme beam, comfortable seating, a smooth ride and good economical running from three 150hp Johnson outboards. This Naiad easily passes the new Damage Stability Requirements for passenger vessels and has the capacity to carry 40 passengers, though there is only seating for thirty. Although this Naiad is twice the physical size of the 9 metre Water Taxi the company also operates and can carry nearly twice as many passengers, it only needed half as much power again. This efficient hull has a top speed of 38 knots and cruises economically and comfortably at 28-30 knots. It's good to see our RHIBs working well for our customers.
