The hull is a deep vee with raised shoulders to improve handling in rough and sloppy conditions. The raised shoulders keep the inflatable pontoons out of the water longer allowing the boat to ride flatter through the waves reducing premature lift when punching into heavy seas.
The cabin and deck on the 11.3m is spacious, offering plenty of configuration possibilities. From walk around cabin, large rear deck, first aid station, to practically any layout that meets the needs of the users.
Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue Group (WVSRG) took delivery of their Naiad 11.3 in January 2011. Their requirements were well researched over the two and a half years from first consideration to launch. Naiad’s West Australian builder Kirby’s created a custom vessel for WVSRG meeting their extensive requirements. From armoured cabin glass to a mid cockpit tow post and self-stowing power hauled anchor, this boat is a testament to Naiad’s ability to customise while still maintaining performance and safety.
